Silverton's Murals

Silverton's rich display of outdoor artwork begain in 1992 as an economic project to bring more visitors to town. Local artist David McDonald began his mural of Normal Rockwell's Four Freedoms in 1993. The project took more than a year, several fundraisers and a state grant to complete. More murals followed, turning one blank wall after another into the town's largest art gallery.
