More than anything, Homer Davenport Days loves Silverton. The festival supports its host city with cash donations to area organizations. In 2002, over $7,000 was divided among area organizations including Silverton Area Little League, Silverton Dance Team, Silverton Area Community Aid, Silverton Together, Boy Scouts, Silverton Area Chamber of Commerce, Cascade Scenic Railway, Silverton Mural Society, Silverton High Football Program, and Reins In Rhythm 4-H.

The Board of Directors is committed to returning all profit from the festival back to the community which has made Homer Davenport Days so welcome.
