Scenic, flat and very fast, the 10K Covered Bridge
Loop course includes the only original covered bridge
in Marion County. Watermelon slices and Mexican pastries
are served at the finish. Afterwards, enjoy the Homer
Davenport Day festivities!

Start and finish is at Silverton High School Schlador
Street Campus (Schlador and James Streets). Trophies
will be presented to overall first place male and female,
and ribbons will go to first, second and third place
finishers by age group in the 10K. All runners are eligible
for great local prizes, with drawing winners to be posted
after the run.
Pre-register by August 3 using this
printable PDF form for $16 with t-shirt or $9 race
only. Fees on day of run (registration 7:15-8:15 a.m.
Saturday, August 6) are $22 with t-shirt, $15 race only.

Attention all backyard Barbecue chefs! Do you make
the best barbecue on your block? Come compete against
Silverton's finest at the Homer Davenport Days Barbecue
Contest! This is an all-day event in Coolidge-McClaine
Park. Compete in three categories: Chicken, Tri-Tip
Steak, and Pork Ribs. A $200 prize goes to the grand
champion. Reserve champion takes home $100 and the first
place winner in each category receives $50.
This is a Pacific Northwest BBQ Association (PNWBA)
sanctioned event and the winner may have a chance to
compete in the state BBQ competition. For more information
