• Couches/furniture/vehicle must be steerable
• Runners must maintain control of their entry
• Runners must be age 16 or over
• Runners under 18 must have parental permission
• Drivers must wear safety helmet

The "Silvy 250"

Homer Davenport Days' slogan, "The Uniquely Silverton Family Festival," is never more true than when davenports race down Main Street in a lively competition that has grown steadily over the years. The event is divided into two separate components: a Fun Run, and the race competition.

Fun Run
Those participating in the Fun Run may enter davenports, love seats, or entire living room sets, just to be on the course and have fun! Entries may be pushed, carried, or powered by electricity. Create a theme, make a statement, and strut your stuff as an individual or a group of up to 15! These entries will be matched evenly for the purpose of running the course, and will be judged for the People's Choice Award and the Homey Awards.

Race Competition
Those participating in the races are in for stiff competition, running against the clock for the best score of two timed races. Categories are:
• Two Women
• Two Men
• Mixed Group of Four
