Recreation

Silverton offers outdoor and indoor recreation services as well as a selection of city parks. Silverton Reservoir, an attractive lake stocked with trout, offers boating and fishing. Silver Falls State Park, fifteen minutes from town, offers hikes from easy to challenging among miles of wilderness trails and ten spectacular waterfalls. The Oregon Garden, a botanical display garden, is five minutes from town on Cascade Highway.

Regulation length nine-hole, public par 36 course, one mile west of Mt. Angel with tree-lined fairways and views of Mt. Hood. Offers group and individual lessons, full-service pro shop with senior citizen discounts; restaurant and bar.
