Recreation

Hitting the links, fishing, playing in one of several city parks, 10 Waterfalls perfect for hiking, and trails galore to bike are just some of the great outdoor recreation you will find in and around Silverton.

Hiking, Biking and Horseback Riding

Campgrounds in the area have trails available for bikes, horses and ATV’s – Camp Dakota, Silver Falls State Park.

Fishing

Silverton Reservoir - One mile south of town on South Water Street. Stocked several times a summer with trout. Fishing license required for 16 and older. Limited picnicking facility, boat dock, ramp, electric motors only. 503-873-5321.

Golf

Evergreen Golf Course - Regulation length nine-hole, public par 36 course, one mile west of Mt. Angel with tree-lined fairways and views of Mt. Hood. Offers group and individual lessons, full-service pro shop with senior citizen discounts; restaurant and bar. 503-845-9911.

Swimming

Silverton City Pool - Changing room, showers, snack bar, diving boards and slides, lessons. Open year-round. 503-873-0205.
