Silverton Paws in the Park

Silverton is proud to announce it's first annual
Paws in the Park event - Saturday, May 20, 2023.

 

Presented by the Silverton Chamber of Commerce
and Silver Creek Animal Clinic
A new Silverton event in conjunction with the annual Silverton Pet Parade.  A pet fair with vendors, food, entertainment and fun for all.  Bring your pets for the parade and stay for the fair!  All pets are welcome.
Come watch a Pet Fashion Show or demonstrations by the Marion County K9 team, or dog agility trainers as well as a Pet/Owner look-a-like contest.  You might even help Bobbie the Wonder Dog find his way home.  You can check out vendors that cater to your pets and maybe even find a new family member.

 

Held in beautiful Coolidge-McClaine Park from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

What can vendors do at the Silverton Paws in the Park event?

• Pass out samples
• Distribute company information
• Make direct sales at the event
• Recruit volunteers (Nonprofits!)
• Provide a raffle or drawing for an item at your booth.
• Give a presentation on the main stage.
• Collect attendee information for mailing lists.
• Have direct connection to hundreds pet lovers in the Silverton—Marion County area.

Volunteer Information
The Silverton Paws in the Park event is organized and run by volunteers. The more dedicated volunteers we have, the easier it will be for us to pull off a great fair.

Volunteer positions include:
5+ people – Setup and breakdown crews (Absolutely essential for the day to run
smoothly)
3+ people – Paint Crew (8am-10am) to paint paws to direct attendees to the park
for the event.
6+ people to walk in the pet parade to promote the event to attendees.
3+ people – Information booth
Master of Ceremonies (DJ experience if possible, too)
3 people – Photographers/Videographers to capture the magic of the event and
share their shots with the chamber.
